Hello, I'm Tara and thanks for reading my little corner of the Internet! I'm a military wife, mother of two sweet and active boys (and one more on the way), and saved by Jesus. I'm a licensed and registered Occupational Therapist (OT) which, second to being a mom, is one of the most rewarding jobs in the world! I received my Master's of Occupational Therapy from the University of St. Augustine in 2018 and then worked as a school based OT for over six years, helping students from preschool through 12th grade with mild to complex special needs. I now enjoy being at home full-time raising my family. I've been working with kids of all ages and abilities since I was 12 through babysitting, instructing gymnastics and swim lessons, teaching at space and rocketry camps, working in a childcare center, and serving in my church nursery and Sunday school. Although I have decades of experience with kids, I'm humbly learning from my own every day. Now, I'm here to share what I've learned with you!
As an OT, I'm passionate about using games and toys to develop functional skills and adapting them so that ALL can participate and have fun! My hope with this website is to provide quick reviews of new and classic games, toys, and resources for the kid(s) in your life based on my professional and personal perspective.
