Review:
Dot stickers are my go-to, seemingly indispensable, and super affordable craft supply that I always have on hand. Stickers in general are great for building fine motor and bilateral coordination skills. But what I love about dot stickers is their size and simple shape- they are perfect for small hands and rarely rip like other stickers with more complex shapes. Dot stickers usually come in bulk so they almost never run out. Plus they come in fun colors (see link above for the ones my kids love). Recently, we used them as ornaments to decorate Christmas trees! I like to cut strips of dot stickers and distribute a few strips at a time. This keeps my kid’s engagement running a little longer!

Adaptations: To add a visual motor skill component with dot stickers, draw small circles on paper and have your child try to place each sticker within the circle. You can also draw a straight, zigzag, or curved line and have your child line up the dot stickers along the line. If you have an older child participating in dot sticker craft time, he can cut between the columns of the stickers to make strips of dot stickers. This is a sneaky, fantastic way for your older child to practice cutting skills.
